Data Types
Definition
Data types in Java specify the different sizes and values that can be stored in a variable.
Data Types
Some Data Types are :
- Int : Stores integers (whole numbers), without decimals. Example: 123, -456.
- Float : Stores floating-point numbers, with decimals. Example: 3.14, -1.5.
- Char : Stores a single character. Example: 'A', 'b'.
- String : Stores a sequence of characters. Example: "Hello".
- Boolean : Stores a value of either true or false.
- Double : Stores double-precision floating-point numbers. Example: 19.99, -11.11.
- Short : Stores smaller integers, ranging from -32,768 to 32,767.
- Long : Stores large integers. Example: 123456789L.
